These are examples of knife sets I have done.
8" kitchen knife forged from 5160 spring steel. The handle is reclaimed heard of pine from a home in Arlington Virginia and has been stabilized.
Reclaimed African Mahogany handle with nickel guard and stainless pins. Blade is made from 1095 and 15n20.
Blade is 7” long and forged from 15N20 steel. The handle is made of poplar burl with copper liner and pins.
Forged from 1080 steel with cocobolo handle. Blade length is 3.5"
Forge finish camp knife made from 5160 steel. Handle is made from black walnut burl. Blade length is 10".
Sheeps foot knife made from an auto body file. Handle is made out of recycled coffee bag burlap. Sheath is made from kydex.
These knives were drop forged by the Sabatier factory in France around the 1920’s. There they sat forgotten for years and have since been brought to light. All have been finished to the same standards as the factory but with a unique handle.
